Payment & Cancellation Policy – Yatrik Tribe

  1. Booking & Payment Terms

  • A minimum deposit of 25% is required to confirm your booking.
  • Full payment must be completed at least 7 days before the departure date (unless otherwise specified).
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, UPI, cash or other approved methods.
  • All booking vouchers and tickets will be provided 3 days before departure.
  1. Changes/Cancellation by Traveller

  • After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes, but it may not always be possible. Any change request must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All costs incurred due to the amendment will be borne by you.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
  • The following cancellation charges apply:
    • 15+ days before trip: Full refund of the deposit.
    • 7–15 days before trip: 50% of the total deposit.
    • Less than 7 days or no-show: No refund.

Refunds may be adjusted based on third-party policies (hotels, airlines, etc.).

  1. Cancellation by Yatrik Tribe

  • We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. However, occasionally, we may have to make changes, and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date.
  • We also reserve the right, under any circumstances, to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you. In such situations, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
  • If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g. bad weather), we shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t already commenced.
  • We are not liable for costs incurred due to force majeure or government travel restrictions.
  • If the tour has already commenced, then we shall refund the booking price/fee charged to you on a pro-rata basis, depending on the portion of the tour utilised by you.
  • In all circumstances, however, our liability shall be limited to refunding to you the price we charged as tour fees.

If you have a complaint:

If you face any problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g. your hotelier, transporter, etc.) and/or our representative immediately, who will endeavour to set things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 7 days of your return home by writing to us with your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be advised that while we are happy to assist you in the redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service provider. All third-party service providers are independent contractors who are at no time under our control or supervision.

Important Things to Note – Yatrik Tribe

  1. Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings.
  2. Passports & Visas: Travellers are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents. We can offer guidance, but we are not liable for denied entries or missed flights.
  3. Health & Fitness: Inform us of any medical conditions. Some trips require moderate to high physical activity.
  4. Code of Conduct: Respect local customs, guides, and fellow travellers. Disruptive or illegal behaviour may result in removal from the trip without refund.
  5. Group Travel Dynamics: Itineraries may be subject to change due to local conditions or unavoidable situations. Cooperation and flexibility are appreciated.
  6. Photography & Marketing: Photos taken during trips may be used for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please inform us in writing.
  7. Feedback & Complaints: We welcome feedback. Any concerns should be addressed during or immediately after the trip for quick resolution.
